Rs.267,165 raised in two days for coach Durgesh; The fight continues
10/09/2020 - On 7th of September (2 days ago) we published an article about Durgesh, a well-known chess trainer from Bangalore, who suffered from brain haemorrhage and is in the hospital fighting for his life. Although his surgery is completed, the path to recovery is long and he will need quite a bit of financial resources to get through this phase of his life. Durgesh's good friend Sushrutha Reddy sponsored Rs.50,000 as the prize fund for the tournament that will be held on 19th of September 2020. In the last couple of days, the chess community has come together and we have had 147 donors and we have managed to raise Rs. 2,67,165 for Durgesh. The battle still continues and we hope for your support.
