GM Chongsheng Zeng (CHN) drew against GM Arkadij Naiditsch (BUL) in Round 7 of 31st Abu Dhabi Chess Festival 2025 Masters. Thus, Chongsheng is still the sole leader 6/7. GM Bharath Subramaniyam H and GM Aditya Mittal drew their respective games against GM Denis Lazavik and GM Bartosz Socko (POL) to stay in the hunt. IM Mayank Chakraborty defeated his second consecutive GM of the event. This time it was against Poland's latest GM Jakub Seemann. Mayank pushed his passed pawn at the right time which made the crucial difference. Mayank joined Aditya and Bharath in the pursuit at 5.5/7 each, trailing the leader by a half point.
