Indian titled players contribute for 'Let's rebuild Odisha' fundraiser tournament
India's latest GM Swayams Mishra, GM R Praggnanandhaa, GM Laxman R R and WGM Bhakti Kulkarni are the titled Indian players who announce his participation for this sunday's 'Let's rebuild Odisha' Online Blitz Tournament on 12th May 2019 at 8 p.m. IST. The tournament has no entry fee. All players can make a donation of any amount they want, minimum donation amount is ₹100. However it is not mandatory to participate, anyone can donate. The entire proceedings will go to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. The tournament will take place at 8 p.m. so even if you are playing some tournament or have some other work, you can still take part in it. Swayams, Laxman and Bhakti come forward to help raise funds for 'Let's rebuild Odisha' fundraiser tournament
India's GM Swayams Mishra makes an appeal to the chess community to come forward and contribute towards this noble cause. He has contributed ₹3000 and will be participating in the tournament as well. He will also waive the fees for his upcoming camp in May to the top finisher from Odisha in this tournament.
GM Laxman R R made a donation of ₹4000 and Pune's young talent Aditya Samant's father Sachin Samant made a contribution of ₹5000.
Donate to the cause:
There is no entry fee for the tournament. However, only the people who donate will be allowed to play. It is requested to donate a minimum of Rs 100 for the cyclone 'Fani' victims. There is no maximum limit. The entire proceedings will go to the victims' family via Chief Minister's Relief fund.
Entry is closed for the tournament, however you can still donate and contribute to the cause.
