Darshan G dominates 2nd Dole Trophy Pasino Grand Aix 2025 Accession
12-year-old Darshan G scored an unbeaten 8/9 to win 2nd Dole Trophy Pasino Grand Accession (1700-2200) Rating 2025. He finished a full point ahead of others. Asal Salimova (UZB) scored sole 7/9 to secure second place. Six players scored 6.5/9. Out of them, Jean-Michel Bigonnet (FRA) finished third due to better tie-break score. The total prize fund combining three tournaments was more than €30000. The top three prizes in Accession were €800 + trophy, €550 and €350. 12-year-old shines in Aix-en-Provence
Darshan G was the sole leader 7/8, heading into the final round. Remy Rayne (FRA) and Quentin Massardo (FRA) were the only two trailing him by a half point at 6.5/8 each. Darshan defeated Remy to become a clear champion. Quentin lost to Asal Salimova (UZB) who finished second. Makhim Orazmukhammedova (UZB) drew against Jean-Michel Bigonnet (FRA) and the latter claimed third place.

The nine-day nine round Below 2200 Rating tournament was organized by Echiquier du Roy René at Pasino Grand in Aix-en-Provence, France from 19th to 27th July 2025. The time control of the event was 40 moves in 100 minutes + 30 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move.
