Anna Muzychuk wins Grosslobming GP

GM Anna Muzychuk (UKR) drew with GM R Vaishali to win FIDE Grosslobming GP in Austria. GM Alexandra Kosteniuk (UKR) missed a win against GM Jiner Zhu (CHN) in the endgame and the game ended in a draw. Thus, Jiner finished second and won the FIDE Women's GP 2024-25 with 352.5 points. GM Aleksandra Goryachkina secured second place scoring 308.34 point. Anna missed a spot in the Women's Candidates by a whisker 1.67 points as she scored 306.67. There are still many paths left for her as well as others to qualify. GM Zhongyi Tan (CHN) scored 5.5/9 to finish third overall. Total prize fund was €80000.
