MeepleCon Blitz Chess Tournament 2026 comes to Mumbai
MeepleCon, India’s largest board game convention, is known for bringing together board game lovers from across the country. This year, they are adding chess to their line-up. They are going to host two blitz tournaments on 1st February 2026 as part of MeepleCon 2026. The tournaments will be held at Dublin Square, Phoenix Marketcity Mall, Kurla. Players can choose to participate in one of the two blitz events scheduled on the day. The first tournament begins at 11:00 AM, with reporting time at 10:30 AM, while the second starts at 4:00 PM, with reporting at 3:30 PM.

Important note: Players may register for only one of the two tournaments. Dual registration is not permitted, so participants are advised to choose their preferred slot early.
The total prize fund for each tournament is Rs. 10,000, along with exciting board games.

The two-day pass allows players to explore the convention beyond the chessboard. Players can get access to over 200 board games from around the world, hosted game zones, workshops, and multiple tournaments. MeepleCon 2026 will be the sixth edition of the event. They began in 2017 and have grown into a major platform for board game enthusiasts. In the last edition that was held in December 2024, they welcomed over 5,000 visitors!
