Vishy Anand gains sole lead at NC World Masters 2022

Vishy Anand played the first round game against Dmitrij Kollars on the rest day of the NC World Masters. It could not take place on the scheduled day because of Vladimir Kramnik's illness. Viswanathan Anand goes into his last game with a half-point lead over direct opponent Michael Adams and Dmitrij Kollars at the No-Castling World Masters in Dortmund. His game against Michael Adams today will determine who wins the championship!

Lara Schulze suffers her first loss

WGM Priyanka Nutakki lost her game against WGM Evgeniya Doluhanova. Tournament leader FM Lara Schulze (GER) got her first loss of the tournament against WIM Hanne Goossens in the 8th (penultimate) round.
