Akshayakalpa makes entry into Hyderabad Chess scene

Akshayakalpa Organic, a well-known name in the Bangalore chess fraternity, has extended its support and presence to the Hyderabad chess scene. This is a significant step in the expansion and collaboration within the chess community. Hyderabad Chess Centre is organizing the Akshayakalpa Organic 3rd HCC Open Telangana State Chess Tournament. It will take place at Olivemount Global School in Hyderabad, Telangana on the 22nd October. This tournament is expected to be a notable event in the Hyderabad chess calendar. HCC organizes a rapid tournament this Sunday in Hyderabad, Telangana

HCC was founded on July 7th, 2021, with the primary aim of providing a dedicated space for chess enthusiasts to practice, exchange knowledge, and organize quality chess tournaments with excellent facilities. The organization currently has 21 members who contribute financially to support the center's activities.

Elections for the HCC office bearers were held on July 27th, 2023, resulting in a new leadership team. The newly elected office bearers are:

 

President: Amithpal Singh

General Secretary: Y Sameer Kumar

Treasurer: Daya Bethi

Vice Presidents: M Swapna and P V Satyanarayana

Joint Secretaries: Chetan Sharma, Y Ramesh

EC Members: M Rama Mohan Rao, V S N Murthy and D Praveen Kumar

Collaboration with Akshayakalpa Organic

The new HCC office bearers have begun their tenure by actively seeking sponsorships for the center. This initiative has resulted in the collaboration with Akshayakalpa, which is now the Title Sponsor for the 3rd HCC Open Telangana State Chess Tournament 2023.

 

This update reflects the positive growth and commitment of HCC and the significant contribution of Akshayakalpa to the chess community in Hyderabad. It's a promising step toward fostering chess talent and organizing successful tournaments.

Players of all ages visit Hyderabad Chess Centre for practice, national level, rated players, titled players come regularly which is actually helping Hyderabad to produce strong chess players. Hyderabad Chess Centre is situated in the centre of city at Secunderabad YMCA. It is ppen on all weekdays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
