Software Engineering Volunteer | Help Build the Future of Indian Chess

by Adarsh Bhadauria - 27/05/2026

HelpChess Foundation, the NGO initiative by ChessBase India, is looking for Software Engineering Volunteers to help build technology that supports chess players across India. HelpChess has raised significant funds and supported players through scholarships, sponsorships, travel, coaching, and training support.

HelpChess Foundation is the charitable initiative of ChessBase India, dedicated to supporting chess players across India through financial aid, technology, infrastructure, and community-driven initiatives.

Over the years, HelpChess has:

  • Raised significant funds through community-driven initiatives and charity campaigns

  • Supported talented chess players with tournament sponsorships

  • Helped players with international travel expenses

  • Provided laptops, devices, and training support

  • Assisted players with coaching and scholarship programs

  • Enabled many young talents to continue their chess journey when financial limitations became a barrier

With the support of donors, chess lovers, and the wider community, HelpChess has contributed toward building opportunities for the next generation of Indian chess players.

As the initiative continues to grow, we now want to build better technology and systems to scale our impact even further — and that’s where you come in.
