First Move Chess Academy Organizes 3-Day Intensive Coaching Camp by GM Sriram Jha
For the first time in Mysuru, First Move Chess Academy organised a 3-day intensive chess coaching camp from April 9th to 11th, conducted by Grandmaster Sriram Jha, the 21st Grandmaster of India and an active international player. Grandmaster Sriram Jha earned his GM title in 2010 and is a Commonwealth Games silver medalist. He has represented India in numerous international tournaments and brings a wealth of competitive experience and a deep understanding of the game. This 3-day coaching camp is designed for chess enthusiasts and aspiring players to enhance their skills and prepare effectively for upcoming district, state, and national-level tournaments. Participants gained valuable insights into tournament strategies, advanced techniques, and practical gameplay.

Bharath M, Founder and CEO of First Move Chess Academy, has been actively promoting chess for the past 6 years. Under his leadership, the academy has successfully organised multiple FIDE-rated tournaments and continues to create opportunities for young talents to grow and excel in the sport. Around 20 students attended the camp, and everyone was enthusiastic about learning.
