Mayank Chakraborty vs Ethan Vaz (1-0)

Mayank Chakraborty scored his first victory in his first Indian clash of the event against Ethan Vaz. Mayank got a nice king-side space advantage in the middlegame against Ethan that helped him in gaining a few extra pawns in the rook pawn endgame to secure the win
Harsh Suresh vs Audi Ameya

Black to Play, find the best move
Ameya Audi played an attacking game against Harsh Suresh to secure his second win of the event. It is Ameya's second win with the black pieces. In the above position, Harsh played 24.Rae1, he could have exchanged the queens on d8 to keep the position equal, but he completely missed 24.Qh4 with so many attacking ideas near his king. Ameya got a big advantage and eventually won his game in 35 moves.

Playing with the white pieces, Aronyak got a comfortable position out of the opening, and the space advantage helped him in outplaying Akshay to secure his second win of the event after losing to Ethan in the last round. Aronyak won both of his games with white pieces.
