Aylore Hari Suryanarayana Wins RCA below 1800 Classical Rating 2026
Aylore Hari Suryanarayana scored an unbeaten 8/9 points to win the RCA below 1800 Classical Rating Chess Tournament 2026. Aylore Hari, Siddharth Pernati, and Johney Mandal all scored 8/9 points to finish in the top 3 places according to tiebreak scores. The tournament was organised at the Hall of Chess, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai, from 17th to 19th July 2026 by Rajam Chess Academy. Journey To Victory
Starting as the tenth seed, Aylore Hari Suryanarayana remained undefeated, scoring seven wins and two draws. In a crucial middle round, Suryanarayana held top seed Trichy boy Yathrish N to a draw. His final round victory over experienced Vishnuram S sealed him the title.
A class IX student with Sarada Public School, Guntur, 13-year-old Suryanarayana trains under coach Pavan S of Sri Knight's Move Chess Academy, Guntur. His other victories include a title triumph in the Below-1600 FIDE Rating Tournament, Bhimavaram, 2024, in addition to finishing as winner and runner-up in many state-level tournaments in Andhra Pradesh.

The below 1800 event organised by Rajam Chess Academy, Chennai under the auspices of Tamil Nadu State Chess Association from 17th to 19th July, 2026 attracted 418 entries including players from Germany, South Korea and USA.
