Aditya Savalkar Wins Vish: 2nd Makarand Aaba Patil Chashak Rapid Rating 2026
Aditya Savalkar scored an unbeaten 8.5/9 points to win the Vish: 2nd Makarand Aaba Patil Chashak FIDE Rapid Rating Chess Tournament 2026. CM Ashish Chaudhari also scored 8.5/9 to finish in second place according to tiebreak scores. Nirgun Keval scored 8/9 points to secure third place. The tournament was organised by Vishwaganga Pratishthan, Satara, on 9th August 2026. The domination of the top seed
Aditya started the tournament as the top seed, and he scored 6 consecutive wins to remain perfect on 6/6. In the 7th round, he drew against Ashish Chaudhari and won the final 2 games to clinch the title. Ashish's victory route was also the same, scoring 8.5/9.
A total of 332 players took part in this event. The tournament was organised at Viraj Multipurpose Hall in Pargaon-Khandala, Maharashtra.
