A total of 77 players including 8 GMs, 6 IMs and a WIM took part from 18 countries across the world. The seven-day nine round Rating Open tournament was organized by Club de Ajedrez San Mateo at Vega de San Mateo Sociocultural Center in San Mateo, Spain from 6th to 12th December 2025. The time control of the event was 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move.
