IM Ameya Audi made a perfect start by winning eight games in-a-row. He was a full point ahead of a dozen players before the final round. IM Mohammad Nubairshah Shaikh defeated FM Joydeep Dutta to become the champion. Ameya lost to IM Nitish Belurkar to secure second place. IM Ravi Teja S won against IM Nikhil Dixit to finish third.

A total of 590 players including two GMs and nine IMs took part from various parts of the country. The two-day nine round Rapid Rating Open tournament was organized by Satish Anna Fans Club at Mahaveer Bhavan in Belagavi, Karnataka on 25th and 26th October 2025. The time control of the event was 25 minutes + 5 seconds increment per move.
