Vicenza is a splendid city in the northern part of Italy near to Venice, famous for the Monte Berico sanctuary, which has been for centuries a pilgrimage destination, and for Andrea Palladio’s great creations, the famous architect from the 16th century known for his villas and his "Teatro Olimpico” (Even the White House has taken inspiration from Palladio’s creations).
