Garry Kasparov extended his lead to 8.5-3.5 after Day 2 of Clutch Chess Legends 2025. Vishy Anand had a rough start as he lost on time in a better position in Game 5. The next Rapid game ended in a draw. Kasparov won the first Blitz game of the day in just 18 moves after his opponent made a one-move tactical blunder. In the next Blitz game, Kasparov repeated in a better position to keep his lead. Final day games have 3 points each, so Anand still has chances to win the clash.
