Arjun Erigaisi (2756) was determined to play for a win against the reigning World Junior champion, Marc` Andria Maurizzi (FRA, 2605). It was evident with his pawn pushes on the kingside.

22...Nhxf4+? did not yield the desired effect 23.exf4 Nxf4+ 24.Kf1 b4 25.Nd1 White managed to defend his king and went on to win the game.
