LIC will start as the top Indian team in 1st FIDE Online World Corporate Championship
Total 288 teams comprising of 1475 players from 68 federations across the world will take part in the 1st FIDE Online World Corporate Chess Championship. Total 69 Indian teams and a staggering 390 Indian players are slated to take part in this event. Only six rounds will be played in the first stage and only top eight teams out of 288 teams will advance to the knockout stage. 69 Indian teams comprising of 390 players will take part
LIC, TCS Chennai and UBS Maharashtra will be the top three Indian teams out of 288 teams taking part in this three-day first ever FIDE World Corporate Championship. GM Nihal Sarin, GM Praggnanandhaa and IM Prasanna Rao are the top three Indians taking part in this event. They will be representing Akshayakalpa Farms and Foods, TCS Chennai and Vida Health. Sriram Jha is the only other Indian GM who will be seen in action representing LIC as the captain of the team.
With three titled players in their line-up and huge amount of experience, team LIC is no doubt the highest rated Indian team in the fray.

TCS Chennai will be captained by Antony Rajaclimax (2059). The average rating of the team being 2087 makes it the second highest rated Indian team of the event.
