Shibantak Saha wins AICF Chess For Everyone FIDE Rating in Tripura
Shibantak Saha scored 7.5/9 points to win the AICF Chess For Everyone FIDE Rating Chess Tournament 2026 held in Tripura. Shibantak Saha, Shakya Singha Modak, and Umashankar Dutta scored the same 7.5/9 points to finish in the top 3 according to tiebreak scores. The AICF's Chess for Everyone Initiative is helping players all across India. With minimal entry fees like ₹250, these tournaments offer a great opportunity for talented players to showcase their skills and get their FIDE rating or increase their rating. In the final round, Shibantak scored an important win over Upadhriti Bhattacharya to secure the title on tiebreak scores.
