Chennai 07-10: Adam Tukhaev wins the tourney and the Indian circuit

Ukraine's GM Adam Tukhaev finished with three draws to become the Chennai Open 2017 champion with 8.5/10. He won the tournament by a half-point margin. Four players tied for the second place with 8.0/10 and the best Indian among them was IM S. Nitin. Express Report.

The Chennai GM Open 2017 came to an end with the Ukrainian GM Adam Tukhaev winning the second of the three Opens that are a part of the Indian circuit. He earlier won the IIFL Wealth Mumbai International Open held at the turn of the year.

GM David Alberto was second on the tiebreak but taking clear first was Ukrainian GM Adam Tukhaev (2516).
