Vishy Anand would become the Deputy President if Dvorkovich wins the FIDE Presidential Elections 2022
Vishy Anand has played many different roles in the world of chess. We all know that he is the five-time World Champion. But he has also been a major promoter of the sport in the country as well as the world. He now spends a lot of time as a trainer to some of the most talented youngsters at the Westbridge Anand Chess Academy. But one move that very few would have seen coming, was Anand becoming a part of the FIDE administration. Today, 12th of May 2022, Arkady Dvorkovich has announced his FIDE Presidential Team. If Dvorkovich is re-elected as the FIDE President in Chennai in August, then Vishy Anand would become the FIDE Deputy President.

Arkady Dvorkovich, the FIDE President from 2018-2022 has announced that he would be fighting for the FIDE Presidential elections once again. The FIDE elections will take place in India during the Olympiad. Announcing his team for the next term, this is what Dvorkovich had to say:
