An explosive line-up for Vishy Anand 49 online blitz 2018

When was the last time you saw Adhiban, Karthikeyan Murali, Aravindh Chithambaram, Vaibhav Suri, Deepan Chakkravarthy, R. Praggnanandhaa, Arjun Erigaisi, Abhimanyu Puranik, Diptayan Ghosh, Swapnil Dhopade, Thejkumar, Laxman, Gukesh, Raunak Sadhwani and many more playing in the same tournament? That's right, it's not easy to recall. They will all be seen in action on Tuesday 25th December at Playchess server in Vishy Anand 49 online blitz tournament. So far 11 GMs and 6 IMs have confirmed in what is shaping up to be the strongest online blitz tournament in the final week of 2018. The first prize is ₹12500 and the total prize fund is ₹49000. That's not all. Best Junior and best woman player will receive signed copies of Anand's ChessBase DVDs. The last date for the registration of the tournament is 24th December 2018. What are you waiting for? It's your chance to fight against the best players of our country!

Play India's best from the comfort of your home

It's a chance to play against the best in India and this is the main reason why we do these blitz tournaments. People who never get to play against IMs and GMs can now play against the absolute best in Indian chess from the comfort of their home. The Vishy Anand 49 blitz tournament has a tremendous line-up with players like Adhiban, national champion Aravindh, Karthikeyan, Praggnanandhaa and many more joining to fight for the first place and Rs.12,500.

Celebrating 49th Birthday of the Legend

The final ChessBase India Online Blitz tournament of 2018 will take place on 25th December 2018 at 8 p.m. IST. It will be a star-studded and strong event as there are already 11 GMs and 6 IMs who have confirmed. Besides the main prize, there is also signed copies Anand's My Career ChessBase DVD for Best female player and Best junior player of the tournament.

Autographed DVDs for best female and junior player:

The best female player will get Vishy Anand's My career Vol.01+02 DVD signed by Vishy Anand. The best junior (under-19, born on or after 1.1.1999) will get Vol.01 of Vishy Anand's DVD signed by the legend.

Note: Each player will get only one prize. So if you are in the main prize list, you cannot claim the best female or junior prize.

 

Players at the Bhopal GM Open 2018 can easily participate in this online blitz tournament as 25th of December is a single round day and our blitz tournament begins at 8 p.m. It will go on for around one and a half hour and so you can go to bed by 9.30 p.m!

Before paying the entry fee of the tournament, please ensure that you have a valid Playchess id. You can create one here. The last date to pay entry is 24th of December 2018.

 

All GMs, IMs, WGMs and WIMs get free entry to our tournament. All you have to do is write a mail to us at teamchessbaseindia@gmail.com along with your name, FIDE ID and the playchess ID. If you do not have a playchess ID please create it from here and share with us.
