RSPB regains their title for the first time in a little over seven years
RSPB dominated the top two places and finished a staggering five points ahead of the competition. They had won the tournament with a round to spare. The last round result was only to determine which team A or B will become the champion. They were the favorites to finish top two as RSPB were the only teams which consisted of GMs and IMs only. The defending champion AAI did not defend their title and former champion PSPB was absent too.
