Arav's second triumph of the year
Birmingham Open had four sections - Open, Major, Inter and Minor. The total participation was - 132 (31, 28, 32 and 41 in each of the previously mentioned categories).

A total of 31 players took part from five countries across the world in this two-day five round Rating Open tournament. It was organized by Warwickshire Chess Association at King Edward VI Five Ways School in Birmingham, England on 16th to 17th November 2024. The time control of the event was 80 minutes + 10 seconds increment per move.
