In the battle of the reigning World Junior champions, GM Kazybek Nogerbek (KAZ) prevailed over IM Divya Deshmukh. GM Thai Dai Van Nguyen (CZE) gained sole lead with a victory over IM Miaoyi Lu (CHN).
