Deepan - Karen
GM Karen Grigoryan (ARM, 2556) blundered 16...Nc4?? His opponent found the nice tactical shot 17.Ne6!+- fxe6 18.Qxg6+ Kd8 19.Qxg7 Dragon bishop is more valuable than rook, hence the obvious choice Nde5 20.f4 Nxe3 21.fxe5 Nxd1 22.Rxd1 and White went on to win the game comfortably.
Tornike - Viani
24.Rf4? was not the best way to drive the knight away from g4. Instead, GM Tornike Sanikidze (GEO, 2448) could have played 25.h3. IM Viani Antonio Dcunha (2378) supported his knight 24...h5 25.Bc2 Bb5 26.h3 Nf6 27.Rd1 Rg3 28.Rd2 Re8 29.Nd3 Re4 here Viani was considering Ne4 which he mentioned in the post-game interview. Black eventually went on to win the game.
Suyog - Aronyak
IM Aronyak Ghosh (2525) first decided to give up his b5-pawn 24...cxd5 25.Qxb5 Bc6 26.Qa6 Ba8 27.Nb3 Rc4 28.Qxa5 Black lost another pawn. Soon he arrived at a lost queen and opposite color bishop endgame. FM Suyog Wagh (2289) had no trouble seizing his opportunity and won the game.
