Vidit Gujrathi launches the chess vertical of Physics Wallah

GM Vidit Gujrathi travelled to Delhi on 17th of August 2026 for a very unique livestream. He was present on the channel of Physics Wallah - Alakh Pandey, which has over 14 million subscribers. Physics Wallah is known for having revolutionized the way in which education is served to people, making it very affordable. It is now entering into the chess domain with GM Vidit Gujrathi spearheading it.

When parents would ask Vidit about where is a good place to have their kids learn chess - Vidit didn't really have a conclusive answer. There was a need for a place that would teach the kids from scratch and help them become stronger players. This is the primary reason that Vidit decided to join hands with Physics Wallah and bring chess to more people.
